"When Injustice: Gods Among Us was first released, fans everywhere went about requesting a plethora of different comic book characters be added to the roster as DLC. The folks over at GamerFitnation were among those who sent NeatherRealm Studios their suggestions, specifically asking former Injustice producer Hector Sanchez if Todd McFarlane's Spawn could become playable.
Back in April of last year, Sanchez stated that there were no plans to have Spawn in Injustice, but that NRS would like to look into that possibility. Nearly ten months later, GamerFitnation has caught up with the creator of the demonic comic book character, Todd McFarlane, and addressed the same question to him.
McFarlane shows interest in this idea, saying, "get him in there, and then he takes down everybody!" He goes on to talk about how Spawn will be making a big comeback in the near future with a feature film, a new video game, and anime.
